I worked as a program manager at 'Save a Life' for the project of 'Promoting agro-forestry by introducing mix vegetation and shady plantation along with coastal biodiversity conservation' a project funded by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) through the Global Environment Facility - Small Grants Program (GEF-SGP) funding).
As the project manager, I have developed the comprehensive project plans, budget and activities for this project. We have planted mangroves at Pooneryn coast to protect the coast and shore from sea erosion and enrich the livelihood of adjacent fishing community through awareness programs on the role and importance of mangroves in fishing sector. Further, we have planted palmyrah as wind barriers near the agricultural lands located near sea proximity.
