I worked as a project assistant at 'idea factory-Social innovation lab (https://ideafactory.lk/)' organization in the project of 'Creating opportunity and unity among multiethnic students of the University of Jaffna to create plastic waste management awareness among School students in Jaffna Region'.
Being as a project assistant, I have recruited university volunteers from multi ethnicities (Tamil, Sinhalese and Muslims) to do school waste management training workshops. We as a team conducted ToT programs, field visits to the volunteers to enhance the cohesion among them and work for a common social change.
I have organized and conducted waste management training workshops at 9 schools in Jaffna along with other volunteers.
